Explore the relationship between your interior life and the natural world, namely the landscape of your origin. In the vein of poets Wendell Berry and Mary Oliver, practice observational poetry writing and share drafts with fellow classmates. While this is a primarily a writing class, we will also take inspiration from walking the campus, practicing light yoga, and reading the work of other writers. The weekend will leave you with a sharpened sense of self-awareness and several new drafts.
